Abstract

The education sector in any developing country caters to the production of a large resource pool of competent and capable citizens who would assumably, be able to promote and enlighten the country’s progress to a considerable extent. The educational institutions are in a natural way flooded with large gatherings comprising of teachers, students, maintenance staff, caregivers, librarians, lab assistants, and the like to ensure smooth running of the same. All of these require good monitoring and synchronization for efficient and unhindered functioning and administration is a process of systematically arranging and coordinating the human and material resources available to any organization for the main purpose of achieving stipulated goals of that organization and when applied to the educational institution system is the process which is referred to as educational administration/institution administration. Administration occurs in every organization and the present study focuses on the role of a teacher in the need to get things done for defined objectives to be accomplished he/she should be decisive, diligent, consistent, and organized, and 21st-century teachers’ role is to teach, guide, etc. the students, the mingle with staff members and directing ability along with leadership, personal, professional, etc. skills.
